In the opening round of the French championship, Le Havre will host Monaco. The clash promises to be interesting, although the opponents are of different classes. Le Havre will again be fighting for survival, as the team has one of the weakest squads and the smallest budget. However, in recent years this has not prevented Le Havre from staying in Ligue 1. And Monaco has already begun its season, entering the Conference League qualifiers. In the first away match the Monégasques coped with Gornik (3-2) and are unlikely to have problems in the return leg. On the other hand, the Conference League is not the limit of dreams for such a club. Earlier in friendlies Monaco lost to Coventry (0-2) and beat Liverpool (3-2) and Getafe (1-0).
