During the short off-season, the Parisians have only been shedding 'excess baggage', but shortly before the Super Cup, there was news about the acquisition of Illya Zabarnyi from Bournemouth. Tottenham reached last year's Europa League final without any problems, where they defeated Manchester United 1-0. To achieve that result, the 'Spurs' completely pushed the Premier League into the background, where they finished in seventeenth place. Due to this result, Postecoglou lost his coaching position. He was replaced by Thomas Frank, who had coached Brentford for a long time. Tottenham is very active in the transfer market, having already spent around 150 million euros.
