North Macedonia and Armenia will play their second Nations League game in Skopje. The hosts are not playing their first season in Liga C. Last season they were fortunate to be placed in the same group as Gibraltar, so initially there was no threat of relegation. The Armenian team will play their first season in League C after relegation. In the company of Ukraine, Scotland and Ireland, the Armenian players gained only three points, and therefore now play in a lower division. However, it was the Armenian team that topped the standings of the group after the first match day. The Armenians hosted the Latvians and literally from the first minutes started scoring goals. After losing the first half as a result of a penalty kick converted by their opponents, the Macedonians also scored back at the start of the second half from an 11-metre kick. In the second half, North Macedonia had more chances to secure victory, but the referee fixed the final score at 1-1. Bookmakers have identified the home team as favourites for the upcoming encounter, offering odds of 2.03 on their victory. North Macedonia did not participate in the European Championship this summer. In the same qualifying group with England, Italy and Ukraine, the national team had no chance to prove themselves. And in the last qualification match in Skopje Macedonians took points away from the future finalists of the EURO - the English. The team plays much better at home than away, and a misfire in the Faroe Islands will add to their motivation. Armenia started their performance in League C with a defeat, but this result is not typical for this team. Despite a young and ambitious squad, Spertsyan accounts for half of the team's estimated transfer value. The opponents have a more balanced squad, although they have their undoubted leader - Elmas.
