The Swedish champion will face problems in a match against a division newcomer

At the end of last season, Hecken became the Swedish champion for the first time in its history. Of course, winning the title had both pleasant and not so pleasant consequences. On the one hand, the team got the right to participate in the Champions League qualification. On the other hand, defending the title is always more difficult than winning it. On Wednesday, the Swedish champions kicked off the first round of qualifying for Europe's elite tournament with a win. The Wasps scored three goals against Welsh New Saints already in the first half before taking the game to its logical conclusion in the second half. Brommapojkarna, strangely enough, also finished last season with championship medals. The only difference from the upcoming opponent is that the capital club won the Superettan - the second division of Sweden. And it is difficult to call this success historical, as Brommapojkarna has already won the second league, and before the 2014/2015 season and even consistently played in the Allsvenskan. Bookmakers before the match in Gothenburg have identified the home team as favourites, offering a rather low odds of 1.24 on their victory. Prior to the above-mentioned game against the Welsh champions, Hecken showed convincing football in the championship. After the defeat to Djurgården in May, the Wasps took part in five rounds of the Allsvenskan, which resulted in thirteen out of fifteen possible points. Only Norrköping managed to "squeeze" points from the champion. Last round was not easy for Hecken. After the first half, AIK beat them 1-0 with seven shots on goal. Fortunately, Høgmo managed to get his players in the mood at halftime and they got a willful victory. Brommapojkarna had a terrible start in the elite division, losing the opening three rounds. However, in the third decade of April, the newcomer managed to turn the tide of the season and in a phenomenal way, they scored sixteen points in the next six rounds. The capital club approaches the match against the champion with two defeats in a row, but the guests are not a "passable" opponent - absolutely. Hecken's players have repeatedly emphasised their professional level, but they will have no problem winning in the upcoming match - both teams will score.
