Inter – Viktoria Plzen

The Milan club will delight their fans. The home side will start the match better and win the first half

Inter take on Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League group stage on 26 October. The bookmakers have no doubts that the Italian team will win. "The Nerazzurri are in a battle with Barcelona to make the play-offs. Fans will not perceive a misfire against the main outsider in the quartet. Inter easily beat Victoria 2-0 in the first leg. It's possible that Simone Inzaghi's side play host to a rout. The Czech club have been unimpressive in their away Champions League fixtures so far. It should be recalled that Viktoria lost 1-5 to Barcelona in Spain and 0-5 to Bayern Munich. Inter currently have seven points on their books. In the group stage, the Milan side lost 0-2 to Bayern at home, 2-0 away to Victoria, 1-0 home win against Barcelona and then a 3-3 victory against the Bianconeri at the Camp Nou. The Nerazzurri are now three points ahead of Barcelona. Inter have an excellent chance of making the play-offs. The fans believe the club will get another win. There will be no sensation. The favourite will win the meeting without any problems. No one was expecting feats from Viktoria before the start of the group stage. And so it happened. The Pilsen-based club still look like a punching bag compared to Bayern, Barcelona and Inter. It's hard to see where the team can add any value. The visitors have nothing good to look forward to in Milan. Besides, Viktoria are not shining at home either. The Cup exit from the amateurs from Chlucin (2:3) will not be covered even by the victory over Banik in the Czech championship (3-1). Michal Bilek's team concedes too much. A miracle will not happen. The home side are highly motivated. The Milan club will go on the attack from the opening minutes to secure victory. The skill levels of Inter and Victoria's players are not comparable. It is not impossible that they will be beaten. Simone Inzaghi's side will not be put off and will take the lead straight away. Viktoria's main task in the upcoming meeting is to concede as few goals as possible. The Czech Republic will probably create a "bus" in front of their penalty box, as they will have to defend all the time. But the home side have a chance to keep their fans happy before the break. We must bet on Inter's win at the end of the first half.
