The opponents are without a critical number of injured players that could seriously affect the course of their upcoming meeting. Liverpool and Manchester City have already met in the FA Super Cup this season. There are different attitudes to this exhibition match on British soil, but Liverpool's 3-1 win remains a fact to consider.
