The teams are capable of exchanging goals

Last week's match at Lazio ended with a bit of a scandal. After losing to Napoli, Maurizio Sarri went on a tirade against the refereeing corps. He did, however, celebrate the fairness of their defeat. The Romans gave the ball away to Napoli after a quick goal and they paid for it. The Biancocelesti looked particularly problematic on the flanks, with Kvaratskhelia's decisive goal coming from there. Satisfaction came in the European competitions: in the Europa League, the Eagles confidently beat Feyenord 4-2. But even now, Sarri has found something to reproach his side for. He pointed out that the players stalled after the fourth goal and paid the price for it. Maurizio is right: the Romans have had problems with concentration this season. Only once in the six games they have played have they not conceded a goal (0-0 against Torino). In the meantime, Sampdoria and Bologna were among the team's scorers after a poor start to the season. Verona got their first win of the season. It was a 2-1 win against Genoa. That's not to say that Hellas hadn't deserved to win. Only one league game (a 2-5 defeat at the hands of Napoli) could be described as a failure. At the same time, only Atalanta were unable to score, although they had plenty of opportunities in that game. It is also worth noting the statistics of the meetings between the teams. With Verona's change of coach, they are a little less relevant, but there is a consistent pattern. Thus, in four of the last five matches, the teams have exchanged goals. Last season, the Hellas beat their opponents and played out a draw. And the goal difference in these two games was 7-4! Lazio are expecting a rotation. In the games against Napoli and Feyenord, eight of the players featured twice from the starting line-up. Neither will help the team with Cataldi, who has picked up too many yellow cards. Although this has weakened the Romans, it clearly will not reduce their motivation. After two games in the championship without a win, the team will be rushing forward. That's what Verona Cioffi will be able to catch them on. The team continues to score, even despite Simeone's departure. Should we bet on "both to score"? Yes.
