The biggest match of the round will be rich in goals

Inter secured a fairly straightforward European victory last Tuesday. They faced Feyenoord at De Kuip in the Champions League and went on the attack from the opening minutes. Bisseck put the visitors ahead in the eighth minute, and Esposito doubled their lead after half an hour. Inter continued to create dangerous attacks throughout the match. Their 4:3 away victory was one of the most memorable matches of the season. Just a week later, the sides met in the second leg of the semi-final. Chivu's team came out on top again. The only difference was that the scoreline was slightly more modest, at 3:2. Inter have scored 26 goals, fewer than their xG figure suggests. They were expected to score two more. Como have scored 2.4 goals fewer than expected according to the same metric. More interestingly, their xGA suggests they should have conceded almost five more goals. The history of meetings between these sides is rich in goals, and their style of play lends itself to high-scoring matches. Goals are therefore the focus of the betting selection.
