Bookmakers have made the guests the favourites for the return match, offering odds of 1.88 for their victory. Over the past fifteen years, Breidablik has become Icelandic champion for the third time and earned the right to compete in the Champions League qualification. Just like now, the tournament path of the islanders then ended with eliminations in the early stages of qualifying. In the current Icelandic championship, Breidablik is moving in the top three alongside Vikingur and Valur. In the first qualifying round, the reigning champions of the island nation lost to Egnatia in Albania 0:1, but at home defeated their opponents 5:0. Before the crushing victory in the first match against the Icelanders, Lech had lost the Polish Super Cup to Legia and also lost to Krakovia in their first country championship match with a disastrous score of 1:4. Last Saturday, Lech redeemed themselves in the championship with a victory in Gdańsk against Lechia. Given the current circumstances, it is important for the guests to prepare for the next match in the Polish league. As a result, a productive battle between the rivals in Iceland is only likely in the first half. The lack of tournament motivation in the second half will lead to a scoring drought.
