If they manage to overtake Marseille and jump into at least some European competition, that would sweeten the impression of an overall unsuccessful season. This season Monaco and Strasbourg have been playing each other productively. The Monegasques beat the Alsatians in the first half of the season 3-2, and then in the Coupe de France lost to them 1-3. So one can expect an interesting football match even now.
