In the match of the tenth round of the French championship, Nantes will host Monaco. They are 13th, having the same number of points as Le Havre, Brest, and Angers, one point ahead of Lorient, and two points ahead of Le Havre, which is second to last. However, they are only a couple of points behind Rennes, who occupy the tenth position. In the previous round, Nantes defeated Paris away (2:1), having earlier lost to Lille (0:2) and drawn with Brest (0:0), Toulouse (2:2), and Rennes (2:2). In recent years, matches between Nantes and Monaco have been very high-scoring: from 1:7 in their last encounter to 3:3 in August 2023.
