Despite the clash at the Etihad Stadium on the latest matchday between Manchester City and Liverpool, the meeting in London between Tottenham and Manchester United is attracting just as much attention. This clash will be the first between the clubs since the most painful moment for some and the happiest moment for others in 2025. Bookmakers have named the visitors as the favourites for the upcoming match, offering odds of 2.41 on their victory. Tottenham looked a very strong club in the UEFA Super Cup, almost beating PSG. However, even now, Thomas Frank agrees with the skeptics that there is still a lot of work to do in the London team to achieve stability and high results. After ten rounds, the Spurs sit in sixth place in the league table, but demonstrate football that is unlikely to secure them a spot in the Champions League zone. Tottenham is such that they can beat Manchester City yet then fail to beat Wolverhampton. Frank's charges find it extremely difficult to play as the 'dominant team.' Opponents that do not allow the Spurs to run rampant generally achieve winning results. This was once again demonstrated recently by Chelsea, who defeated Tottenham 1-0. Manchester United has emerged from the deep crisis at the start of the season and could very well score at least one goal in London.
