Cremonese will fight for points in the match against Fiorentina

Fiorentina's first win of the season did not start a winning streak. In the last round the Florentines faced Parma. The Gialloblu were quite active in the first half. The team had two decent chances but could not convert them. The Crusaders preserved their activity after the break. A quick goal, to the delight of the local crowd, was scored by Sorensen. The first real moment for Fiorentina came as late as the 63rd minute. Fiorentina did not really threaten the opponent's goal. What the Viola created for the rest of the match was not enough for a draw. In the previous round Fiorentina crushed Udinese, earning their first win of the championship. Whether it would have been possible without the Friulians' red card remains an open question. There have not been notable improvements in Fiorentina's football yet, and internal squabbles do not add confidence for the future. Cremonese, with little chance, lost to Napoli last Sunday. The Azzurri had already made the difference in the first half. Hoylund's goals in the 13th and 45th minutes gave Napoli a comfortable lead for the second half. The Grigiorossi were outmatched in quality. The same Hoylund could have completed a hat-trick, and Davide Nicola's charges did not create a single big chance. Such problems had not arisen for Cremonese previously. Before that the team had shared points with Lazio in a goalless match and narrowly lost to Torino. Earlier Nicola's charges, however, had no trouble beating Lecce (2-0) and Bologna (3-1). Overall, only three defeats of the Grigiorossi in this championship were by more than one goal. This happened in the aforementioned match with Napoli, with Roma (1-3) and Inter (4-1). Fiorentina does not look like the favorite in the upcoming match. Roberto Paladino's team is unstable and still has not found its rhythm. Cremonese's results are not as positive as at the start of the season. However, Nicola's charges will certainly not be outsiders. Away, the Grigiorossi beat Bologna, Genoa (0-2) and Milan (1-2). Also in the team's record are away draws with Como and Verona. If Cremonese does lose the upcoming match it will be by only one goal. Nevertheless, the team is clearly heading to Florence for points.
