Milan is redeeming itself after recent failures.

Milan have shared points for the second consecutive matchday. On Sunday the Devils faced Fiorentina away. The emotionally charged first half did not yield any goals. The first goal was scored by lilies in the 66th minute. Despite not having the best second half, Allegri's men managed to level the score and secure a draw. The match against Genoa also finished 1-1. A completely ill-timed swing deprived Italiano's charges of a man for a full half-hour of playing time. Como were able to take advantage of a full squad only at the very final whistle. The eventual draw, though fair, could have been different under other circumstances. In the previous season, the Rossoneri beat their rivals twice. The match at Giuseppe Sinigaglia ended in a 2-1 victory for the Devils. Interestingly, in the return match Milan also won by the same score. This season Como have won five of nine home matches. The Biancoblu beat Udinese (1-0), Sassuolo (2-0), Verona (3-1), Juventus (2-0), and Lazio (2-0). Such good results did not always reflect the state of play on the pitch, so Fabregas's charges have some statistical deviations. Thus, according to the xPTS metric, Como earned 3.13 points more at home than they should. And if you trust xGA, the team should have conceded another 5.51 goals, which is the largest shortfall among all teams. Milan shows similar figures in away matches. On away days, Massimiliano Allegri's side have won five times and drawn four times. Obviously, it is worth noting that the Devils beat Inter away and drew with Atalanta and Juventus. The last two Milan defeats do not reflect the true state of affairs and are not a signal of problems in the team. The Rossoneri know how to play against Como and will be close to victory at Giuseppe Sinigaglia.
