While many European national teams have only just started their qualification for next year's World Cup, Group G has already had five rounds of matches. The problem is that the instability of the Baltic team does not allow for any expectations of success. However, in their first home match in September, the Lithuanians equalised against Malta only in the final minutes, which is hardly something to be proud of. The Netherlands won their first two qualifying matches in June with an aggregate score of 10-0. Malta mentioned earlier, conceded eight goals. In the last round, a home win for the 'Oranje' against Poland was expected, but the guests managed to equalise in the 80th minute after conceding in the first half, resulting in a 1-1 draw. In the standings, Poland and Finland share seven points with the Netherlands, which is certainly unsatisfactory for the latter. Even with fewer matches played...
