Two teams from the capital will exchange goals on Danish soil

The central confrontation of the 1/8 finals of the Conference League is scheduled in Copenhagen. The local club is a very experienced European Cup fighter, and their opponent from the capital of England is the undisputed favourite in the current draw of the third continental tournament. The Danish team has achieved a mediocre result in the overall Conference League stage. In six games, Copenhagen won, lost and parted ways with their opponents twice each. Jagiellonia and Rapid were the team's offenders, but those results didn't fit the logic of the Danish form. That is, before and after the defeats from the mentioned clubs, Copenhagen won in the championship matches. This suggests a lack of spirit in these meetings, caused either by the priorities for national tournaments, or the desire of the coaching staff to rotate the squad. Copenhagen also lost their home match against Heidenheim in the previous round. Already in Germany, the Danes took revenge with a similar score, and in the extra periods of extra time to finish off their opponents. In the current season, Chelsea had a great first half of the championship, reminding themselves of the pre-crisis period, after which they began to lose points at the level of not the most stable middle of the division. After their status as second title contenders, which Chelsea were given back in December on the back of a winning streak, the Blues are no longer listed as viable candidates for the top spot. Given the drop to fifth place in the standings, the London club should be more worried about finishing in the Champions League zone of the English league. Well, or winning the Europa League and not worrying about a place in the league. In the middle of last week Chelsea interrupted a series of three defeats with a win over relegated Southampton. Everything is far from optimal at the London club, so the visitors will not dominate in Copenhagen. We bet that both teams will score goals.
