On the field of the Swedish champion the rivals will differ at least twice

Traditionally, in May, the best Swedish clubs that have been awarded the right to represent the country in European tournaments following the results of the last Allsvenskan draw play the matches of the round that has an overlap with the qualification days of continental competitions in the future. Malmo started the current season as Swedish champions and the main favourites for the championship. To the surprise of not only their own fans, but also their rivals, the sky-blues have shown the level of a solid mid-table team, but not a contender for the title defence. AIK also surprised their fans, but they did it with a plus sign, unlike their upcoming opponent. The club from Solna has had a poor start to the championships in previous years, but has had a great start to the current campaign. For the played one third of the entire championship programme, AIK has become the only club that has not lost once. Bookmakers have the home team as favourites for the upcoming game, offering odds of 1.74 on their victory. Malmo have won their opening two league games. Taking into account that the champion sorted them out with quite strong Jurgården and Elfsborg, the bookmakers were only convinced of their rightness regarding the choice of Malmo as favourites for the new season. However, the sky-blues showed a hard-to-explain weakness. The next eight rounds brought the champion three victories, in which the opponents were either outsiders or newcomers to the division: Degerfors, Ester and Halmstad. In the other five encounters, Malmö have achieved, at best, a draw. Whether this is a temporary crisis or the true level of the team for a long time - will be shown in the coming matches. AIK hasn't lost a single game in ten rounds of the new season. The team has drawn four times and left the field as a winner six times. Another thing is that even with these statistics, the club from Solna managed to lose the first place at the end of the last round. The sensational Mjölby, which was beaten by AIK players not so long ago, was quicker, but much less often the capital club lost points in draws. We bet that the rivals will score at least two goals between them.
