The North London derby will be dominated by the Canaries

The North London derby will grace another round of the Premier League. Arsenal's position in the current season adds spice to this story. Before the start of the next round of the English elite division, the Canaries' chances of winning the title were estimated at about the same level as Manchester City. After the first misfire in the championship, analysts cut the quotes a bit, but they are hardly able to cut the ambition of the players themselves Mikel Arteta. Tottenham have not worked in the transfer market in a way that would consider them a contender for anything serious this football year. "Spurs" approach the fourth round as a mid-table side, but the North London derby has always been a world apart, with results not always dependent on the current playing form of the opponents. Bookmakers have identified the guests as favourites for the upcoming meeting, offering odds of 2.33 on their victory. Tottenham in the off-season spent 150 million euros on the transfer market, but did not revolutionise the squad. The same Solanke, for whom Spurs paid about 65 million euros, played only a match against Leicester, after which he went down with an ankle injury. Young Archie Gray only came on a couple of times at the end of matches and did not prove himself. The same can be said about the French youth player Wilson Oudobert. In general, Tottenham have invested in prospects, but so far their investments have not yielded the expected results. In three rounds of the championship "Spurs" once won, lost and drew, managing to beat only completely "dismantled" Everton. Arsenal added three good players in the off-season. Mikel Merino was acquired from Real Sociedad, Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna and goalkeeper David Raya from Brentford. In addition, the Canaries rented out several players not used in the main squad and sold two players: Eron Ramzdale and Emile Smith-Rowe. Arsenal started the new season with confidence, emphasising their readiness to tackle the big questions. This included, at the very least, an away win over Aston Villa in the round before last thanks to two second-half goals. Wolverhampton were also beaten with a similar 2-0 scoreline in the first round. Last round Arsenal lost points for the first time, failing to beat Brighton (1:1), but that result further motivates the Canaries for a crucial battle on Sunday.
