Montenegro almost dropped down a division in the B League last season. The Montenegrins finished a shaky third place in the group with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Finland and Romania. Despite the defeat in Iceland in the first round of the Nations League, the Montenegrin team has a pronounced positive characteristic - playing well at home. The last four official meetings in home walls brought Montenegrins seven points. The away situation is much worse - only the Bulgarians have been beaten away in the last two years.
