Medvedev should not face any difficulties

Daniil Medvedev and Christopher Eubanks will play in the Wimbledon quarter-finals on 12 July. Who will succeed? Medvedev is having one of the best seasons of his career. Yes, he hasn't won a Grand Slam yet, but he could have done much better at the Australian Open and even better at Roland Garros. However, without achievements at Grand Slams, this season will not be an asset. Medvedev reached the quarter-finals of Wimbledon for the first time in his career and, judging by his recent statements, he really believes in himself. On grass, Daniil is still playing with mixed success. He has six wins in his last eight matches, but there have been errors and mistakes in each of them. Medvedev's serve often let him down and he lacked concentration at crucial moments. At first glance, the world number three should have no problems in the upcoming encounter. Medvedev had already beaten Eubanks in the quarter-finals of the Miami tournament, when the American took only eight games, 0:2 (3:6, 5:7). Daniil had a chance to rest a bit, as the match with Legecka ended early, and now he is full of energy. Strangely enough, for Christopher Eubanks, the tournament in Miami was the best in the current season. Apart from Wimbledon, the American has reached the second round only twice. However, since the end of June he has been playing superbly on grass, which helped him win his first career title in Mallorca. After the final, Christopher admitted that he was determined to perform at his best, and so far he has succeeded. Eubanks has now won nine consecutive titles. Almost all of his matches have been hard fought with a lot of errors. On six occasions he has given up one set. As a rule, Christopher starts badly, he needs more time to catch the rhythm and get used to the style of the opponent. One cannot disagree with the experts who call Daniil Medvedev the clear favourite. His game can't be called confident, but so far he has been able to beat his opponents simply because of his class. Still, the American should not be underestimated. Eubanks is hardly strong enough to create a sensation, but he won't give up a set without a fight. You have to bet that more than 38 games will be played.
