Danish tennis player to win final and title in Monte Carlo

Rune confirms that reaching the quarter-finals at Roland Garros last season was no fluke. The Danish player beat Dominik Tim, Daniil Medvedev and Yannick Sinner at the Monte Carlo tournament. Holger has great court movement, he is stable on the baseline and very decent on his shortcuts. Andrzej has never won a Masters before in his career. Few expected to see Rublev in a final of the current competition. He has progressed from match to match and has earned the right to fight for the title. The Russian representative handled Jaume Munyar, Karen Khachanov, Yann-Lennard Struff and Taylor Fritz along the way. Rublev scored a fantastic win against the Dane at the Australian Open in early 2023. Miraculously in the fifth set, the Russian scored several match points before breaking out on a super tie-break. It was a rematch - Rublev had lost to Rune at the end of last season at the Masters in Paris. You have to admit that the Russian is playing great this week, but the same can be said about his opponent. Bookmakers see Rune as the favourite. There will be no sensation. Rublev put in too much effort in Monte Carlo. It will be very hard for him in the decisive meeting. It's worth betting on Rune to win.
