Eintracht had a lot of misfires early in the season, but Glasner was quick enough to bring on a renewed squad. The Frankfurt club played at the level of the Bundesliga leaders for the last month and a half before the World Cup break, which brought success both directly in the championship and in the Champions League. Last Saturday, Eintracht achieved the opposite result to their opponents in the round of 16 matchday as Glasner's team defeated Schalke (3-0) on home soil. The date between Freiburg and Eintracht in the upcoming round looks to be a match of equal opponents.
