Tony Ferguson and Michael Chandler will delight fans with a standout and tight fight

Despite the fact that the fight is not for the title, the attention is about the same as the Gaethje-Oliveira fight. Lightweight legend Tony Ferguson will be trying to salvage his career and return to fighting for the title. "El Cucuy" lost his last three fights, losing by TKO in the 5th round to Justin Gaethje and by decisions of the judges to Oliveira and Dariush. Tony is in his twilight years, but in spite of it, he is still a dangerous fighter, not easy to break. Oliveira almost broke his arm , Beneil Dariush had his heel twisted and said after the fight that he heard the crunch in Tony's leg, but he never gave up. His character is simply indestructible and Chandler will have a tough time in this fight. Michael Chandler has had three fights in the UFC. First, he spectacularly knocked out Hooker, but then lost to Oliveira in the title fight and lost by decision to Gaethje, ending the fight with a bloody face. "Iron" Michael gets too carried away in his fights, forgetting to defend himself and missing a lot of punches. Tony doesn't have a knockout punch, but he's able to slice up Michael's face with his sharp elbows and do a lot of damage. This fight is crucial for these guys, because whoever loses this fight will almost certainly not be able to return to the title race. The bookmakers see Chandler as the favorite, and experts are predicting an early knockout. I don't believe Ferguson can be knocked out at all. He's a good punching machine, he's got a knack for breaking down the tempo of a fight and he's certainly not going to get into an open cut with Michael. Knowing Tony's stubbornness I expect him to be able to hold his ground and I don't exclude the judges having to decide who wins. That being said, I'd like to bet on the total of the rounds (1.5).
