Schwartzman made it to the quarter-finals of the Monte Carlo Masters with great difficulty. All the Argentine's matches in Monaco proved difficult. Diego only beat Marton Fucovic in two games (6-0, 7-6). But to beat Karen Khachanov and Lorenzo Musetti he had to play three sets. Schwarzman defeated the Russian 6-7, 6-3, 6-3, while the Italian was 2-6, 6-4, 6-3. Shwartzman has played 14 matches on the court this season, claiming 11 victories. At tournaments in Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro he played in the finals. However, in the first one he lost to Kasper Ruud of Norway and in the second to Carlos Alcaraz Garfia of Spain. Tsitsipas made a brilliant start to his title defence. So far he had not dropped a single set in these contests. The Greek defeated Fabio Fognini 6-3, 6-0, then took a 7-5, 7-6 win over Laszlo Gyorje. Tsitsipas has reached the quarter-finals at practically every tournament this season. The only exception was the Miami Masters. Stefanos lost in the last eight to Carlos Alcaraz Garfia (5-7, 3-6). Tsitsipas lost in three sets to Schwarzman at the ATP Cup this season. However, in Monte Carlo the Greek can take revenge. Stefanos is looking very confident so far. The Argentine is too unstable. There's no sensation in this match. Tsitsipas should beat his opponent in two sets. The game won't be long, the Greek will try to conserve his strength. No more than 22 games will be played.
