The Russian will immediately seize the initiative and take the first set

Rublev managed to win two titles earlier this season. Andrei won tournaments in Marseille and Dubai. These successes allowed Andrei to retain his place in the top 10 of the ATP ranking. The Russian is currently ranked eighth in the world. However, Rublev is not yet as dominant on the French clay court as he is on the French ring. His clash with Alex de Minor was a case in point. This is not the Australian's surface. But this factor did not prevent de Minor from giving Rublev a serious problem. The Russian then won three games 2-6, 6-1, 6-4. Sinner has made a good start to 2022. So far, Yannick has been playing consistently. In almost all competitions the Italian has reached at least the quarter-finals. The only exception was at Indian Wells where Sinner dropped out in the fourth round because of an injury. Rublev lost to Sinner last season in Barcelona. Now Andrey is defending his last year's final. The Russian is much more motivated. The Moscow native should make the right conclusions after his match against de Minor and start the match better. The Russian will not put it off, but will seize the initiative straight away. There is a high probability that Rublev can win the first set.
