The favourite can get a quick win in two sets

Ruud has already played a few matches on the clay courts this season. The handicapper has looked very decent. In mid-February the tennis player played well in Buenos Aires and eventually won the tournament. In the final of that event the Norwegian defeated Diego Schwartzman 5-7, 6-2, 6-3. At the last Masters in Miami, Ruud reached the final, where he lost in two games to Carlos Alcaraz (5-6, 4-6). Rune came to Monte Carlo after a strong showing at the Challenger in San Remo. The Dane had no worthy opponents at that tournament. So it was he who emerged triumphant at the tournament. At this year's Monte Carlo Masters, Rune started from qualifying with two convincing victories over Radu Albot (6-2, 6-3) and Maxime Cressy (6-3, 7-5). In the first round of the main draw, Rune defeated Aslan Karatsev (7-6, 4-6, 6-3). Ruud is in very good form. Kasper has been playing brilliantly this season. The bookies are justifiably favouring him. We must expect a quick win for the favourite. The Norwegian will not delay the game and will try to save more energy. In the upcoming match not more than 20 games will be played.
