The Danish team will not be able to score many goals against the Finns

The home side are the favourites to win, with the bookmakers offering a relatively low 1.32 odds. Nothing foretold the misfortune that happened to the Danes at the World Cup. Before the trip to Qatar, Hjulmand's side had fought to the last for victory in the Nations League A, beating France and Austria twice in the process. The Danes were only kept out of the Final Four by defeats to Croatia. The Scandinavian national team's coach will have a tough task mentally to bring the team together after the World Cup and motivate them to aim high. In this regard, scoring three points against the defensively ductile Finns will be a key priority for the Danes. Finland, after playing poorly in qualifying for the Mundial, did quite well in last year's Nations League. In a quartet with Montenegro, Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Finns picked up eight points to finish second overall. The visitors to the upcoming game, given the composition of the qualifying group, certainly have ambitions to fight for a place in Euro 2024. The challenge in Copenhagen is clear: to hold their opponents to a defensive barrage and keep their goal locked. Whether or not the visitors are up to the task, nothing bodes well for a high-scoring encounter.
