However, watching the game style established by Jasikevičius, any questions whether their place in the play-off cease to exist - Žalgiris' players know how to turn successful defense into aggressive offense, where the players' skill and confidence allow them to ignore the opponents fame and to play their own game. In their last visiting match the green-whites confidently won against Efes. Barcelona, on the other hand, is disappointing this season. Fired Alonso is only the top of the iceberg: the teams' problem is their inability to play as a team. Their roster is made of skilled players, and yet, as they say, teamplay beats skill. Pešić, who recently replaced Alonso, tries his best to establish communication between players, but so far his efforts make difference only within the national championship. At this point Barcelona lacks experience as a whole team to compete against opponents on the European arena. Thus, the hosts look preferable.
