A win in the upcoming encounter could lift the team into third place, coming close to two key Championship positions. In the last face-off between the rivals, Brisbane Roar did not leave Perth Glory a stone unturned, scoring four goals and only allowing their opponents a prestige goal in the 90+2 minutes.
